A large carpet woven by Axminster of Devon, based on an original design by the founder, Thomas Whitty.

Superb quality 8-row woven Axminster, 100% wool.

One of a limited production run of 50, made c.2010.

The design is inspired by the original carpet woven for the dining-room at Lansdowne House, 13 Berkeley Square, London.
